Carib Bean Coffee Roaster

Perched on Horsford Hill above English Harbour, this charming specialty coffee shop offers one of the most picturesque spots on the island to pause for a cup of something exceptional. The hilltop setting looks out over the beautiful natural harbour at Falmouth, making it an ideal place to linger over a freshly roasted brew and a sweet treat after a morning on the water or a visit to Nelson's Dockyard nearby.

What's on offer

The café serves a whole range of specialty coffees — all roasted on-site using their celebrated Sivetz Fluid Bed Roaster, affectionately known as 'The Bean Machine'. Unlike traditional drum roasters, the Sivetz system lifts the beans on a fluidised bed of hot air, ensuring even, gentle roasting without scorching. The result is a noticeably clean and vibrant cup. Alongside the coffee menu, the shop carries a selection of fine teas and freshly made snacks — perfect for a relaxed mid-morning stop.

Atmosphere and experience

The café has an easy, welcoming atmosphere built around a genuine passion for quality coffee. Guests are welcome to grab a coffee to go or settle in and enjoy the superb view across the harbour. A dedicated 'Made in Antigua' retail corner rounds out the visit with locally crafted goods — a wonderful addition for those looking to take a piece of the island home.

Opening hours

The main shop and coffee shop is open Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm. Walk-ins are welcome; no reservation is required for café visits.
