Located on the waterfront along Dockyard Drive in English Harbour Town, this colourful and warmly decorated restaurant opened its doors in December 2020, bringing a world of Indian colour, charm and fragrant spices to one of Antigua's most lively and picturesque areas. Behind the venture is a team with over 16 years of Caribbean island experience — including two well-loved restaurants on Nevis and another in Grenada, where Indian Summer has held the number-one position on TripAdvisor in Nevis for many years. The kitchen is led by an experienced Head Chef who has been with the company for over a decade. His passion for authentic Punjabi and Mughlai cooking sets the tone for an entirely made-to-order menu that uses fresh local produce and locally caught fish sourced directly from growers and fishermen wherever possible. Raw ingredients are marinated in advance, but nothing reaches the heat until an order is placed — including the restaurant's much-praised freshly baked Naan breads. The setting is equally appealing: superb views over the harbour make Indian Summer an ideal spot for a relaxed lunch or a lingering dinner as the sun goes down. A well-stocked bar, Happy Hour promotions and a welcoming atmosphere draw locals, visitors and yachties in equal measure, and the friendly Antiguan front-of-house team ensures every guest feels at home.
