Founded in the United Kingdom in 1973 by the late John Duffy MRICS — a Chartered Surveyor — this long-established firm of estate agents, auctioneers, surveyors and valuers has grown into a trusted name on both sides of the Atlantic. The Antigua chapter of the business was re-established in 2021 and continues today under the leadership of Lindsay Duffy, carrying forward the professional standards and community spirit that defined John's remarkable career. John Duffy's connection to Antigua began in 2005, when he and Lindsay arrived on the island drawn by a shared passion for sailing. He quickly became a prominent figure in island life, serving as President of the Antigua & Barbuda Marine Association and later President of the Caribbean Marine Association, as well as holding board positions with the Antigua Yacht Club, the National Sailing Academy, and Antigua Sailing Week. In 2015, he was invited to help transform a primarily commercial estate agency into a thriving residential business — an endeavour that ultimately led to the founding of Duffy & Company in Antigua. Today the company operates from Jolly Harbour and serves clients across all of Antigua and, where appropriate, the broader Caribbean region.
