What sets the operation apart is the Sivetz Fluid Bed Roaster, affectionately known as The Bean Machine . Unlike traditional drum roasters, the Sivetz system lifts the beans on a fluidised bed of hot air, keeping them in constant motion and preventing scorching — the result is a cleaner, more consistent cup. Visitors are welcome to witness the roasting process for themselves. Beyond the roastery, the main shop and coffee bar is open Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, serving a wonderful range of specialty coffees, teas and sweet treats in a relaxed setting with picturesque harbour views.
