Turner's Beach
About Turner's Beach
Turner's Beach is a very long and wide sandy beach located at Johnson's Point on the southwest coast tip. The beach is spacious, clean, and beautiful, lined by coconut trees and sea grape plants, yet remains one of the least populated beaches on the island.
The calm, blue waters are excellent for swimming and snorkeling, with tropical fish and stingrays visible in the shallows. Several restaurants line the shore, including Turner's Beach Bar and Grill, OJ's Beach Bar, Jacqui O's Beach House, Rumbus Beach Bar, and Julia's on the Beach, all serving seafood and local cuisine.
Beach chair rentals are available for approximately $10 USD. The steep sand slope into the water is notable, and several hotels and resorts are nearby.
