Agave Landings

Nestled on a hillside in the shadow of an old sugar mill near Jolly Harbour, this small, private self-catering complex offers three categories of accommodation — a studio cottage, a one-bedroom apartment, and a two-bedroom apartment — all sharing superb views of Ffreyes Beach and the Five Islands chain, with St. Kitts, Nevis and Redonda visible in the distance on clear days. The beach itself lies less than 165 yards away.

Accommodation Types

• Studio Cottage — sleeps 2; queen-size bed, fully equipped kitchen, private balcony, all amenities except dishwasher
• One-Bedroom Apartment — sleeps 2 (standard occupancy); queen-size bed, spacious floor plan, large private balcony, full kitchen with dishwasher
• Two-Bedroom Apartment — sleeps up to 6; ideal for families or small groups, two bathrooms, full kitchen, generous living space and private balcony

In-Unit Amenities

Every unit is fully self-catering and equipped to a high standard. Kitchens include a full-size oven and range, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, and a complete set of dishes, cutlery, glassware, pots, pans and utensils. The studio cottage is the only unit without a dishwasher. Each apartment also includes a washer and dryer, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, cable TV with HBO, Showtime and Cinemax, Wi-Fi internet, and a stereo with CD player. DVD players are available on request.

All units feature air conditioning, ceiling fans, window screens, and ceramic tile floors throughout, with 110-volt electricity. Large private balconies — referred to on-site as galleries — offer wonderful views across the water and are furnished with cushioned deck chairs. Outdoor gas BBQ grills are available for preparing meals al fresco, and an outdoor shower makes rinsing off after the beach easy and convenient.

Linen, Beach Kit and Housekeeping

Sheets, towels, beach towels, portable beach chairs and a cooler are all provided as standard, with beach umbrellas available on request. Weekly maid service is included in all stays, with daily service available if preferred.

Rates and Practical Details

The complex operates two seasons. During high season (1 December – 30 April), the studio cottage and one-bedroom apartment are priced at US$189 per night or US$1,195 per week; the two-bedroom apartment is US$259 per night or US$1,635 per week. Low-season rates (1 May – 30 November) are US$129 per night or US$795 per week for the studio and one-bedroom, and US$199 per night or US$1,250 per week for the two-bedroom. All rates include utilities. Please note that Antigua and Barbuda Sales Tax (ABST) of 14% — which includes a 10.5% accommodation tax and a 3.5% Tourism Accommodation Levy — is applicable in addition to quoted rates.

Standard occupancy is two guests in the studio and one-bedroom units, and four guests in the two-bedroom; additional guests are charged at US$30 per day or US$180 per week per person. A minimum stay of three nights applies. Check-in is from 3:00 pm; check-out is by 12:00 noon. A one-time US$35 cleaning fee applies to stays of fewer than seven nights. A 50% deposit is required to confirm a reservation, with the balance due ten weeks before arrival. A major credit card or US$300 security deposit is required at check-in.

The complex features an intercom-controlled entry gate, paved on-site parking, and a fully lit and fenced perimeter — well suited to guests seeking a secure, private retreat.
